I do believe the virus will be around for several months or more - which is probably longer than the NY Times will continue to be relevant.

US Air Force Flew Half a Million Coronavirus Test Kits From Italy to Tennessee

defense-large.png

Similar missions to distribute COVID-19 test kits are expected in coming days.

The U.S. Air Force quietly flew 500,000 COVID-19 testing kits from Italy to Memphis, Tennessee, on Monday, Defense One has learned.

Gen. Dave Goldfein, the Air Force chief of staff, confirmed that military cargo planes were moving coronavirus testing kits, but did not give specific details during a Wednesday briefing at the Pentagon.

The mission was flown by a C-17 cargo plane using the call “Reach 911,” which landed early Tuesday morning at Memphis International Airport, a major FedEx hub. Shipping the kits to Memphis allows them to be quickly transferred to commercial aircraft and distributed around the country, according to people familiar with the mission.

A photo posted to Instagram on Tuesday shows a C-17 filled with pallets loaded with the test kits, captioned by a user who said he was part of the air crew. The user who posted the picture has since deleted it, but Defense One has verified its authenticity.

Goldfein acknowledged the Air Force is “moving test kits all in support of Homeland Security [and] Health and Human Services to make sure that we’re meeting the demands that they have.”

While Goldfein did give specific details of the flight, sources, social media posts and public flight tracking data gave a glimpse into the mission, which began early Monday afternoon at Aviano Air Base in Italy and ended just after 1 a.m. local time in Memphis.

Similar missions are expected in the coming days as the military ramps up its support for pandemic-response efforts.

The Air Force declined to comment and the Office of the Secretary of Defense and the White House did not respond to requests for comment.

I believe it's the start of subjugation. People have been made dependent upon government. People are falling in line and hanging on every word being spouted by government officials and megaphoned by the press. I hear no one on the MSM or even the internet disputing the panic that is being fueled. Closures are being 'mandated' and followed blindly - well, on the insistence of the fore mentioned officials and compliant media. States of emergency are being declared across the nation, and I don't see body counts even coming close to the number of people dying of the run-of-the-mill flu. Even the percentage of people dying with the corona has dropped to somewhere near the percentage dying of the flu.

People have been conditioned into sheeple, dumbed down, entertained into couch potatoes, and morally corrupted.

There are many attempts to disarm the people. Many of those attempts have been successful. Local police and sheriff departments have been supplied with military equipment. Parts of military bases have been turned into what I can only label concentration camps. Government officials are talking about 'nationalizing' some industries.

Sit and think about how life used to be 10, 20, 30, 40 or more years ago compared to life today and you can see the trend.

Don't be afraid. Be informed and know that government run amuck can't and won't last long. Stay vigilant, stay prepared, stay determined to hold on to all your rights and freedoms and most of us will make it to the end. Those willing to stand strong have the best chance of seeing this debacle through to a peaceful, free, and prosperous conclusion.

It shouldn't be happening at all, yet here we are. There is an agenda afoot, and it isn't about 'public health' just like 'gun control' isn't about safety.

FWIW, the NYT has been the center of the FUD from what I've seen. It may be around, but to what level of significance?

https://www.cdc.gov/flu/about/burden/preliminary-in-season-estimates.htm

WHO states 5million cases every year with 650,000 deaths world wide.

(Crickets)

and... significantly more deadly to children.... for whatever reason.
This is more contagious.

Stop comparing it to the flu, its just stupid.

You will lose this argument with sheer numbers in 2 months, you already do.

Italy never shut down their economy from a flu.

Vegas has NEVER SHUT DOWN EVER. Not for a ****ing flu....yet every hotel and casino is shut.

Hmmmmmmmmmmm?

Wonder if maybe CONTAGIOUSNESS and the fact this **** can live for 9 days on surfaces has anything to do with it.....

Hmmmmmmmmmmm?

You people dont listen to me though, and that is fine, if you knew what I did right now your little noodles would explode. Oklahoma is positioned very terribly for this. Chesapeake arena will be a triage hospital in short order. Tent hospitals.

We. Do. Not. Have. The. Medical. Capacity. To. Deal. With. This.
