What’s up with Jeep people? My truck went in for a replacement rear window and they gave me a Jeep to drive. I asked for a truck but the only one they had went to some dude that brought in his tiny Fiat.
I hate the thing, especially for the 40k + sticker they ask for them. Then, Ya get these other Jeep weirdos who want to wave every time I pass them like it’s some kinda secret club or something. If they make me drive this thing much longer I’m not sure anyone who waves at me won’t get the bird in return

I get it. Just put the ‘jeep wave’ decal on the back of your mirror and you’re covered for the obligatory wave. Now, the kinda cool part is my mom has a 2018 4 door and she’s 78 this year. My dad has a 2014 2 door and he’ll be 80 this year. It’s been a contact for them to interact with others that have similar interests. Mom and dad still go to Colorado and climb a few passes a year.

A friend of mine has an old Jeep. He has had several adventures with it and in EVERY experience he has had he describes he contacts someone for help and tell them he's driving that Jeep over there. All of the Good Samaritans as he calls them were surprised he drove a Jeep and helped him out with his problem even offering food at their homes a few times.

His adventures reminded me of the old Honda commercial slogan, "You meet the nicest people on a Honda."
I changed it for his benefit, "You meet the nicest people in a Jeep." To this day he still calls me and tells me of another Jeep adventure he has had.

How long does a back window take?
It’s a 1 day deal aside for waiting on parts. Looking like at least a week. The frame had a crack in it and leaked onto the headliner. If it wasn’t under warranty I probably just dab some silicone on it. What worries me is the curtain airbag in the headliner. They say it was unaffected but they are going to also replace the headliner

lol... You must be a city slicker if a friendly wave from a random driver gets your gourd.
I don’t know what ya would call me. But the the dorks driving the jacked up 50k Jeeps (they probably can’t afford) wearing the affliction shirts aren’t my peeps and I’m not going to wave to them
