That's really handy.

Those photos make me miss being a machinist. I really enjoyed running a lathe and a mill.
I missed it until I got my machines. We used to do "government work" at my old job but, I'm retired now. I've had the mill for a few years and I got the lathe last Oct. After you make some items that save you hundreds of dollars, you get over the sticker shock of buying it.

While I mostly use my printer for "toys", you can make a surprising amount of useful stuff with them. Helps if your a better CAD draftsman than I am.

To the gentleman that was asking me about 3d printed objects that could handle being left in hot cars, I printed a material today that can do it. It's called ASA and is a derivative of ABS. It's UV stable and doesn't start to lose cohesion until 96 degrees C. What I printed with it was a spare piece to go on my printers hot end, it's proximity required ASA.
