"New" Ford Bronco

I have been seeing the number of these around town growing, and I like the looks of the standard model (not the sport model).

Anyone have one, or know much about quality, performance, etc. of these?

They look nice. Kalidy has a 2021 with 238 miles on it. It's only $89,000. OUCH !!!

They had a problem with one of the removable tops (the supplier could do the job in testing, but utterly failed in production, and I believe Ford solved that by taking all the tooling and giving the work to another supplier), but other than that, they seem to be pretty solid. The bigger problem is they can’t build the trucks fast enough—they’re basically sold out of this year’s and next year’s production.

I reserved one on 7/13/20 which was release night........orderd a 21' two door Badlands on 1/29 and it never got built.......reordered a 22' on 11/29' and got scheduled for a build on 12/9/21 for a 1/31/22 build week. That got pushed back to 2/7 build week, then pushed back to 2/14 build week then pushed back to 2/21 build week then pushed back to 3/7 build week. Was finally issued a window sticker and it was built last Friday the 11th........still awaiting shipping, estimated delivery to OK is 4/4/22................this will be my last new Ford ever.

Any that you find on a lot for sale will have an ADM of $5k-$25k. The blue 2D for sale at Okarche has an MSRP of $41k and they're asking $60k for it lol.

Orders for 22' models stopped on 3/7/22 and 23' order are supposed to open back up in the fall. It's been a total chitshow with terrible, terrible communication at all levels.

Nice. I didn't know you could order Broncos by the foot.

I don't think that supply problem is unique to Ford. I have heard similar stories from other makers.

Ford's biggest supply problem was 100% Ford only because the hardtops for both the 2D and 4D were contracted out to a company called Webasto. Their hardtop debacle and failure set bronco production back almost a year on 4D, over a year on 2D models. Ford's bronco supply issues were waaaaaaaay beyond chip shortages.
