Sold out to BLM

I side with Upchurch!

Yeah, I get sick and gotdamn tired of everybody tip-toeing around black people just because they're white. To be quite honest, the black people are the ones being racist with the comments they make about white people and shoving the whole BLM thing down our throats.

Furthermore, as for the rednecks flying the stars and bars, it's just a silly southern symbol to them. I would say that if you ask any typical redneck out there who the big dogs were in the confederacy, 99% of them couldn't give you any names other than Robert E. Lee and Jefferson Davis. Myself included. I'm no hillbilly/redneck and I don't fly the stars and bars. I'm an American and I fly ol glory at my house...Every. Single. Day.

Besides, the entire racism thing is such a crock of bullsheet. I mean, seriously...why would you hate someone for something they have no control over? They didn't ask to be black, or red, nor green or purple, no more than I asked to be white.

Happy Birthday indeed. I read somewhere that "Willie Nelson is like an old handmade quilt passed down through the generations...priceless".

The very first concert I ever attended was Willie Nelson at the Lloyd Noble Center way back in the spring of 1981. My buddy's folks bought he and I (and themselves) tickets. We went to Godfathers Pizza prior to the show. I was 12, fixin to turn 13.

Willie was amazing. And what's funny is that he doesn't look he's aged that much in 42 years. Still had the same braids, still played Trigger, and started his show just like he does every show, with a huge Texas Lone Star flag unfurled behind him and his "family" when he sings the very first verse of this song...

Man, I could really get into the death metal type of music if the vocalists didn't always impersonate Cookie Monster. I really appreciate the aggressive sound of that type of music, but I hate the vocals.

I've been trying to think of a band that has heavy music with no death growls, but I can't think of any, so you'll have to settle for CJ McCreery's demonic Donald Duck.

I'm a big fan of the band "LIVE." Their first album was titled "Throwing Copper." They have some great Youtubes. The drummer is one of the hardest working dudes in music.

Also have these guys on Spotify The Wonton Bishops "Sleep With the Lights On." The singer plays lead guitar, then does vocals, then plays the blues harp.

For the record, I'm not a huge Tim McGraw fan, but this one always reminds me of how devastating it would be if I lost my bestie, Mrs. GED.

She and I were high school sweethearts, married right out of high school. She's my everything. I just don't know what I would do without her. :cry3:
