I am considering just handing all the money to Rick so he can shop and buy what he wants because there is no way any 1 person can pick and choose and buy something they see as a good deal without others disagreeing.
Or as mention earlier, he can opt to make that cash his lawn care money to pay a lawn crew to do it for him. For $35-$45 every10 days or 2 weeks, he can hire it done for a good 5 years.

Opinions from those who gave only?

I personally think we have someone pick one out and purchase it for Rick. It may be too much of a burden for him to run around town price shopping for the mower.
I think we should designate someone for this. We can discuss it but let that person decide on the mower for Rick and figure out the delivery.

Well he does get around the big ol crest for groceries. This will be 10x easier to walk to the entrance of Lowes and see all the mowers outside. Plus he can shop online.
I'm interested to hear his thoughts. @RickN

I think before I would give my opinion I would like to hear from Rick on if he’s interested in hiring a mowing service. If he wants to mow then I say a mower be bought that fits his specifications plus some blades and oil and then hand him the remaining stack of cash. However, if Ricks wants a mowing service then I’m good with that too.
