this is my uncle, he’s in no wrong. the other man aggressively proceeded to my uncles vehicle, which turned into an altercation which made Mark pull his fire arm.

do we know if the aggressor had a firearm yet? thats what im wondering. And would make a BIG difference in how things would escalate.

It doesn't say that and definitely doesn't say he sang in church. It does say he was a softball coach and he continued coaching softball after his daughter aged out of it. Seems legit.

Indeed. Governments murder far more people than individuals, and apparently this guy was an agent of the government for many years.

Funny, the wife and I were just discussing that case yesterday. We were wondering about Joe Kennedy (the dude that killed and dismembered the thugs stealing from his salvage yard).

Seems he and Ersland have similar circumstances, and I'd be the first one to turn them both loose, maybe buy them a box of ammo to boot.

Our country is rapidly turning into a criminal free range zone. All of the above mentioned corpses would not have met an early grave if not for doing thug stuff. Ersland and Kennedy didn't ask for that crap.

I dunno about turning those 2 loose -- seems to me they walked a step too far left to be righteous but ... Everything else you are spot on.

I do realize that sometimes good guys have to do bad things but I also think that in order to remain a good guy you HAVE to have enough self-control to know when you are about to become the very thing you crusade against. But then ... What do I know?? I'm just an armchair commando at this point.

To be clear, I'm not defending what he did, but the fact that he is an ex-cop is irrelevant. Show me anyone facing murder charges that tells the truth.

About every time a cop gets into a shoot the victim was not the antagonist and got good grades in penmanship while teaching Bible School. It just fits the narrative the media loves.
