The result of SQ 766 passing will result in cuts to vital programs and increases on property taxes across the board. IDK how that helps fix the system.

You're continuing to make my case for the legislature to go back and do it right, rather than punt to the voters on a state question. :)

Will my niece have to pay a tax on her client list of folks she baby sits for? My nephew has a list of people who have signed up for him to mow their laws. Is a tax owed on that list?

...which they will have every opportunity to do if 766 fails.

Can you imagine the outcry from people like the Chamber of Commerce if the legislature tries to go back and (gasp) reinstate the tax to restore the status quo? Everyone will be on here yelling about how the state government is crushing our economy with all kinds of new taxes.

Again, perhaps they should've done their job properly to begin with? :)

I voted NO as I'm sure a bunch of other people will as well, meaning we don't want this tax. But leave it to a the gov to write a question that is frincking hard to understand. So, No means yes you want the tax and yes means no you don't want the tax? Right?

Short sighted decisions, especially in government are never good. I agree that less taxation will lead to growth in the long run. We are in trouble as a country and need to get people into office who don't have their heads in their asses.

Nope, you got it backwards.

a YES vote means the tax will be struck down.
a NO vote means the tax will remain in effect as it is written.
