I've had that happen too. The factory extractors are junk, and too soft to polish/sharpen on. Been there, learned quick... It's worth the $10 for an upgraded... But I've never had a problem with a factory extractor until the 10's of 1000's of rounds was achieved. Just seemed to be another "something" to get another dollar out of my pocket.
