#Fyrtwuck has one he really likes. Part of it may be the ability to adapt to a left-handed shooter.

I don't have enough time on one to have much of an opinion.

Yep, I have one that I shoot in Steel Challenge and USPSA. I’ve got almost 1k rounds through it and only had two malfunctions. One was caused by a squib load and the other was a surplus contract GI magazine.

I reload and currently shoot a 124 grain plated bullet with 4.0 grains of Titegroup. I was using 147 grain bullets with 3.5 but the timers had trouble picking up the rounds and I had to do several re-shoots.

When I shoot the matches I usually use the Beretta thirty round mags and carry at least one fifteen round mag as a back up. When I originally bought the rifle it was set up for the Beretta 96 mags. I bought a conversion kit so that it would take the 92 mags.

It does have the capability for left hand ejection and changing the charging handle from the left side to the right. You remove a retaining clip on the bolt and change the extractor and ejector from one side to the other, snap the clip back on and reassemble.

I do get some funny looks from time to time when someone sees the brass come out the left side. I try to tell the time keepers to watch for it because they usually stand on my left side, but they usually soon forget and get pelted with brass.

I need to get down to Firearms Solutions at least one time this year for the pin shoot now that they have a PCC class.

Better get down there Oct 1st. This is the last one scheduled this year. That division is growing and getting really competitive. Having to fire more than 6 rounds to clear 5 pins could easily lose the match.

About 16. Don't believe I've seen any other length.
Beretta shows two barrel lengths for the 9mm on their website. There's actually a typo on the chart - both the 422.5mm and 500mm lengths show to be 16.6" (the 500mm should be approx 19.7" by my calculation).

BTW, I have an extra (3rd) charging handle, free if you can use it. I'll be in Durant Saturday morning.
Thanks very much for the offer, but I'm not yet 100% sure I'll buy a CX4. If so, it will be another month or two anyway, and possibly after the first of the year.

I really appreciate everyone's input. :thumb:

Yeah, I know. Shot placement counts. I shoot more for accuracy, cause my old body won’t let me speed. Didn’t you get whupped by a guy with a lever action at one of those?

Sounds like a lot of fun. I really want to try this sometime. Would a 9mm PCC have enough energy to knock the pins off the table?

Do you know of any other ranges that host a bowling pin shoot?

Everybody has whupped me at one time or another.

Yep, a lever action won the event and runnered up the next time. He has since moved to an AR platform and is even more competitive.

You have to hit them pretty accurately, but a 9mm PCC will clear them fine.

Solid hits here

A couple of less solid hits here

Tin Star has a match occasionally. But it really doesn't compare. Look for another to be coming in central Oklahoma in the next few months.
