Not for septic, rv or community sanitary systems. That stuff doesn't dissolve readily. If everyone in a municipal sanitary system started flushing paper towels the system would back up and become unusable in a short period of time.
TP only down the toilets.
No man, that's what the trash can is for.....

On a more serious note regarding this TP hoarding......
My 87 year old MIL is in assisted living in Broken Arrow. Wife and I spent the last week and a half over there when all of this hoarding started. MIL has to provide her basic health and sanitary items in that facility, so I went to a Walgreens in BA, bought a 24 pack for her as rumors of the nursing homes and assisted living areas were going to be locked down were going around. I came home yesterday, wife stayed for a couple more days and went within the facility to their dining area with her mom a little before noon today. When they came back to MIL's room that was locked, they found her TP has been stolen. It had to be staff because they have master keys to all of the rooms.
Wife called me, and I immediately called the facility and raised holy hell to the administrator. Of course there are no cameras to monitor the hallways, or anywhere for that matter, so nothing can be done.
MIL had some jewelry stolen when she first got there, so I installed a hornady fingerprint safe in her closet and bolted it to the wall to stop that, but TP?
So, while wife was there today they locked down the facility. No visitors and that may last for months. Our only option is to ship TP to her via UPS one roll at a time from our stash.

That is BS. Anybody who steals / takes advantage of the elderly should suffer a fate worse than death.

Carry openly and cough a lot. A guaranteed pathway will be created for you like Moses and the Red Sea.

Wife went to Seattle towards the end of last year and got me a "tourist looking" sweatshirt. Haven't really worn it (favor an old beat up one) so it looks brand new. I get a good chuckle at the idea of wearing it out and act like I'm trying to cover up a cough while in line places. maybe act like I'm on my airpods trying to convince the wife that I'm fine and to hell what the doctors say or something......

I have a cam, but she didn't want it. Thought we would be spying on her. I was pretty Irate talking to the facility administrator since it wasn't the first time she had been stolen from. These are small Wyze cams that run on wifi and the facility has good service that way. I might just sneak one in there up in a corner of the closet, but it will be awhile because they are locked down. No outside visitors. Thanks for the offer though!
If it happens again, BA police dept will be called and we will file a report of theft.

Try to convince her to let ya put one aimed at the front door only. You could see who enters and what they leave with. ;)

So sorry to hear about this, Dennis. I try to be a nice guy, but anyone that steals from or mistreats the elderly deserves no mercy IMO.
