True ! However that was one of Mullins primary campaign platform issues. He preached it consistently. That why I voted for him. Once re reneged on that he lost my vote FOREVER. Running on something then going back on your word 180 degrees is a FAR cry from you or I changing our minds on everyday things. Nope I’ll vote against him till hell freezes over
Better to repeal the 17th Amendment and take the Senate out of the hands of the popular vote. Term limits for the House.
elections are term limits and senators will still be beholden to individuals within the state party machines, which is why we have the 17th amendment. Just ask theodore roosevelt
Has anyone asked why he decided to run again? Was it possibly because there was no one else ready to run for that seat and the decision was made to have him run rather than lose the seat to a dem challenger?
I don't know the answer to that, but that may well be the reason.
Exactly what has Inhoff done in a positive manner regarding his position in congress? That to me is far more important than his age. Even Biden at 76 and nearly 50 years in congress-what has he done? To my estimation, Biden has accomplished nothing for us, his community or country but he sure has for himself. I have to ask that about anyone I vote for, what have they done for their community? The country? If Biden has not accomplished (or any politician) something during their tenure, what makes them think that the voters believe that they'll accomplish anything if we vote them in again?
