I was looking at the 75gr Hornady TAP, however all the places that sell it require proof of first responder. (I am not) Let me know any other options I should be looking at.
Thank you for your help.
When H&H sold Hornady ammo to only LEO(which I was) I was told it was because Hornady was selling it to H&H at a reduced price and it was only meant for law enforcement. Had nothing apparently to do with trust or lethality or anything like that.https://www.milehighshooting.com/hornady-5-56-75-gr-bthp-t2-tap-precision-20-box/
Here's a supplier of what you are talking about.....tell me why honorably discharged and or retired military and retired LEO/fire and EMTs can purchase but not standard civilian...
That very well may be the case, a lot of companies used to, and still do, run special discounts for LEO, I just thought that one gentleman’s specific site was oddly listing very specific groups of peopleWhen H&H sold Hornady ammo to only LEO(which I was) I was told it was because Hornady was selling it to H&H at a reduced price and it was only meant for law enforcement. It looks like his own business policy, it might be worth sending an inquiry.https://www.milehighshooting.com/hornady-5-56-75-gr-bthp-t2-tap-precision-20-box/

Sorry bro, but you might want to go back and check this info. You lose or gain about 25fps per inch of barrel. A reduction of 5.5" is only about 137.5 ish fps reduction in velocity.A 10.5 is going to lose roughly 400 fps from a 16, and when you’re pushing those 70+ gr bullets barely over 2000 fps,
