10MM Shooters - What's in Your Holster?

I really like my Gen 4 G29, I carry it in a UBG RTBA Pancake Rig or a TT Gunleather Slim XC IWB holster. For range ammo, I like Sellier & Bellot 180 GR FMJ and for SD ammo, I load the mags up with Underwood 180 GR BJHP. The S&B is available at LAX Ammo right now for $14.30 per box of 50. Good stuff and it's loaded fairly hot. I can't see getting a 10MM pistol and then shooting .40 S&W or light 10 MM Auto loads out of it. My only regret with this pistol and the caliber is that I didn't discover it sooner. It's really not any more trouble to carry this little hand cannon than to carry my G19. I give up a bit in capacity, but if I can't handle it with 10+1 of the 10MM Underwood rounds, then it probably can't be handled and dammit, I should have just stayed home in the first place. I shoot the pistol very well, I don't have an issue with getting back on target quickly, as some might think. I'm thinking I may want to get the Gen 4 G20 to go along with it. I also saw a nice Ruger SR1911 in 10MM at Big Boys Guns and Range yesterday that looks like it would be lot of fun too.

As you know my 10 is a S&W wheelgun and while I don't normally carry it, I have some Federal Hydrashoks. I also have some Black Talons and a lot of Remington FMJ.

Glock G20. Scored a ton of Underwood ammo and a case of Winchester Silver Tips cheap from a guy in Wichita that was getting out of it. Bought some dies, powder, and projectiles so that I can try some handloads in the near future. Only Glock model I own (I'm mostly a wheelgun guy), but I really like the G20.

The times I carried a 1086 I had Winchester SilverTips in it. That was a few year ago, I haven't seen any for sale recently. The SIG 10mm loads are pretty nice but I don't carry the P220 that I use to launch them.

It’s sad that we seem to have so few 10MM guys here. Yeah, I know it’s loud and “kicks” a bit. But for cryin’ out loud, it’s just a pistol.

Im a fan boy! I carry a G29 and take my G40 out regularly. I use the silver tips in my G29, however not far from me is usually a mag with some screaming reloads. When I can, I swap the G40 barrel out with a stormlake .40 conversion and shoot uspsa or haul it around in a run n gun.
glad you like your g29. I bet you will like the G20 too.

I've carried a 29sf every single day for several years now. I carry 3 15 round mags and the rounds are Underwood Ammo 135 grain hollow point.
