I was invited on a little field hunt on Sunday. 9 of us limited.
I went 1/2 dumb Sunday and ended up with 4 birds. Wound up in the worst spot possible with the wind and ice, but still enjoyed it. Decided to leave a bit early as the wind was picking up and I'm not trying to be a statistic. Had to bust ice off the motor mount area to free up the steering as we were leaving. This was after the drive home.

Me and a buddy found some ducks this morning. I'd never shot a Scaup before. Let alone see big groups. After shooting one apiece we decided not to try to shoot any ringnecks because, honestly, it's really hard for me to tell the difference on the wing.
Great mixed bag of ducks all morning long. We just needed to be about 100 yards further down the bank and we would have been golden. Still a great weekday hunt on public land.
Only thing dumb today was the walk in.

Very very slow morning. Only one pair fully committed and they were promptly folded. Still ice on the water. Saw several groups, but none were interested.

Holy cow I missed this one somehow! Nice shooting.
It'd be nice to have a hunt without springing a leak in my waders, which I somehow can't avoid.
I have something similar. This is the first year in forever that I have not overfilled my waders. I have one more day to do it, which I hope I don't.
