.22 Silhouette invite/challenge

I would like to invite a couple of members from this forum out to try the .22 silhouette game at Red Castle .We shoot the first Sat. of the month April thru Oct.

What's needed: .22 bolt action clip fed {preferred}
Scope w/target turrets 10x ,6 X 18 {referred}
100-150 rounds std. velocity ,Wolf, Fed.

All shooting is off hand, no sling ,fat or skinny barrel so long as you can hold it.Ok I won't lie the targets are small and in the wind it ain't easy .. But if you are up for a challenge ...or maybe you can show us how it's done.

My .22 takes mags... not "clips".

I'd really like to do this sometime, but I shoot a Talo 10/22T with Leupold VXI 3-9x40...

A 10/22 w/mags will work the trigger is the weak link as you are shooting against rifles w/ 2lb triggers

Without target turrets you are using hold over , from 40m to 100m there is quite a drop

Honeybee does a fine trigger job on the 10/22.

I have a very accurate bolt action 22 too but it has a tube magazine.

A tube fed rifle will work , just feed 5 rounds at a time for safety sake.

Come on out and give it a try. We have had a few members retire from the sport so we have plenty of room.
