I've got a Vmax load for my 243. Way accurate. It is a 87 grain bullet with IMR 4350. I only shot it for accuracy but didn't chrono it. 40 something grains of powder, don't remember without looking.
I have a savage 11 in .243. I tried IMR 4350, H414, & IMR 3031. Mine shoots just over an inch at 100yds with 40gr of IMR 3031. That was good enough for me, so I didn't fine tune the load. It's a good bullet though. I shot a couple of crows with it and it really makes the feathers fly.
