What is the possible worth of a 410 bolt actoin rifle with ELG and Eibar,Spain markings as well.I think it was made in the 30s or 40s by Zabalas and Hermanos (brothers) of Spain. And imported to America by a company called Belknap Hardware of Loiusville,Kentucky.

Probably should look at this from a cost savings standpoint.

Value of weapon, under a hundred bucks.

Cost for a box of shells, around ten bucks.

Cost of removal of gun parts from face, hands, arms, buddies, more.

Old, Spanish, (not always bad, but who knows?)

Do everyone a favor and turn this one into a wall hanger. If it's family, treat it with honor. If not, these can (no joke) easily be converted inot a very neat floor lamp. That's about the best use I can think of for a non-collector interest old .410.

If you are a Gunboards member, this forum can possibly help you, even though it says pistols: No cost to join, and they have a bunch of specialty forums.

Again, be careful--injury from an old unknown gun can be life changing, both for the shooter and the seller. Old bolt action shotguns were almost always made on the cheap, even most American ones. Too many unknowns. CB
