No kidding. I have a perpetual black-and-blue bruise on my posterior for not buying more of the CMP .22 ammo when they had a sale about a year and a half ago. 5,000 rounds for $150.

Not sure where you've been lately, but I'm pretty sure the days of $.01 - .02 per round of .22LR are over.

Kinda like gasoline, they jack the price up & up & up over the years and then when it drops to $2.99, lines form at all the pumps for a great "deal"!
