She is 73-years-old and she's in the Craig County Jail.

Darlene Mayes is being held on a complaint of possession of marijuana.

Authorities say Mayes was arrested Monday after a search of her home east of Vinita yielded five pounds of pot and $278-thousand dollars in cash.

The cash was discovered in vacuum-sealed bags in the house and in her car.

Craig County Sheriff Jimmie Sooter says the arrest followed a lengthy investigation.
