My .02 on this topic: There's a lot of talk out there on legalizing MJ and I'm not going to state an opinion on that but I think the big issue here is the sale of a controlled substance. So let's say hypothetically that MJ was "legal and taxed" as many proclaim it should be and this woman was still selling it under the table. Moving on from there, let's say the woman was selling alcohol and\or tobacco under the table. Would the police still see that as a crime since those are taxable items?

I'm not sure so hence my question. If so, she would still be in trouble even if MJ was legal.
