A2 hand guard tweak for bipod

I see a member was looking for hand guards.
And a member @teslawasframed posted he had some.

Now a tweak i do to them is to take a cross bar for lighting electrical box.

Thread then weld a bolt into the middle hole.
But this bolt is modified to look like a rifle sling stud.

So basically a 3/8" bolt that has been ground and drilled and inserted into the cross bar and dropped through a hole in the handguard.

Almost a free bipod stud when finished.

It works, but I don’t use bipods on non-free float fore ends. It’ll cause POI shift. Even a proper loop sling often will
