Picked up a tuna can of 7.62 x 39 this morning at Edmond. They had three boxes when I got there. Had the girl set one box on the floor for me while I went to check for BX-25s. By the time I got back the rest were gone and had four others asking for them. Still lots of 20 round boxes. No .22.

I thought Academy does not carry the BX-25 magazines. Does anybody actually bought them from Academy?

The new 1-box policy seems to be working at Academy on 240. I stopped in today around 2 in the afternoon and they had just about every caliber available, with the exception of 22lr of course, because that's the only thing I was shopping for. They had plenty of 9,40,45,223,308. No 7.62x39 either now that i think about it. 1 box at a time might suck for those who are trying to stockpile right now, but for those who just want to spend a little time at the range with the family its helping a lot!
I have learned my lesson on ammunition reserves, as soon as bulk packs are readily available again I'm putting 5,000 rounds aside to give the kids something to do during these "dry spells". Its damn hard to explain political over-reaction and hoarding to a 9 year old.

They do not, at least I have never seen them there. Even before all the willy nilly. I know I have bought a few from Big Boys in mustang but i can almost guarantee if any local shop has/had any they are probably on gun broker bringing 80 dollars instead of 25.

I asked them if they were behind the counter and he said no they on such and such row on the bottom but they were out. I didn't go look at the SKU on the hook to see if they did or did not carry them.

I just went by Walmart on 111/Memorial and they had some 223 Federal. They are limiting to 3 per customer. I grabbed 3, and just as I got them some other people came up and scooped up the rest. Nice to see them having something cheaper than the $31 PDX-1 Winchester.
