A 2D Maglite?

I have carried a MatLige 2AA, a Streamlight TLR-1, and a MagLite 3D on various occasions and had no issues. I never even took it out of my brief bag.

(I don't use them for work, but I travel for work and anyone who has stayed in hotels know the rooms can be DARK when the lights are off.)

So flashlights are excluded from the "Tools less than 7 inches" rule?

It's not so much she's right or wrong, but she doesn't want me to get in trouble or lose my light.

While many of us would consider a flashlight a tool, the TSA does not. They used to get taken in the early days, but no more.
