A 2D Maglite?

I have carried a MatLige 2AA, a Streamlight TLR-1, and a MagLite 3D on various occasions and had no issues. I never even took it out of my brief bag.

(I don't use them for work, but I travel for work and anyone who has stayed in hotels know the rooms can be DARK when the lights are off.)

She might think that, but she'd be wrong. :)

So flashlights are excluded from the "Tools less than 7 inches" rule?

It's not so much she's right or wrong, but she doesn't want me to get in trouble or lose my light.

And for those of you commenting about other lights, don't fret: it's not the only light I'm taking!

While many of us would consider a flashlight a tool, the TSA does not. They used to get taken in the early days, but no more. :)
