I hate to see SWO lose service. I worked hard to help them get it and they were doing fine before Covid.

That sucks because it could cost them Regional Status and the Federal funds that go along with it. Are there any other carriers making regularly scheduled stops in SWO? I'm pretty sure even tough they are larger planes the charters from OSU and other schools coming in don't count.

According to past press releases American Airlines began service from DFW to Stillwater (SWO) 23 August 2016.

the article also read that the Stillwater and OSU had work 5 years to get the service.

This is a plot to get more money from the feds, its basically a threat without federal funds this is what is going to happen. OF course if we keep sitting at home this is going to happen and much much worse.

I hated losing the Stillwater AP. Short drive for us, low parking costs, and I love flying the smaller regional jets. Typically fly lower to sight see, and make turns sharper getting some G's.
