I'm about to build my first two lowers from a parts kit and stripped lower. I have the parts kits in hand and noticed the parts are divided into colored bags. I'm guessing it might be helpful to know what the bag colors pertain to and while I'm sure I could Google it and find out I figured I might ask you fine folks.

I've never worried about it, open bags, remove parts, put lower together...

ETA found it, but seriously, dump them out, and build it...

  • Clear bag: pivot pin/detent/spring, takedown pin/detent/spring
  • Yellow bag: bolt catch/plunger/roll pin/spring, buffer retainer/spring
  • Red bag: hammer pin/spring, trigger pin/spring, disconnect/spring
  • Blue bag: magazine catch/spring, CA-compliant mag release button, trigger guard/roll pin
  • Green bag: safety selector/detent/spring, pistol grip screw/lock washer
  • Bag-less: hammer, trigger, pistol grip

That's what I figured. Thanks for doing the search for me though!!

If you launch any parts, come see us, we have spares.

I've already bought some spares from you due to previous removal and replacement of grips and buffer tubes. I work in a 30x40 shop and I'm pretty sure a buffer retainer made the full 40' despite my conscious decision to not let it happen!

I wondered about that too when I did my first Anderson LPK, but I just dumped it all out and went from there.

That probably is the best plan!

Fixed it for you...

Yep. WHEN, not IF. LOL

No doubt. This is why I now go for the Anderson lowers with the integrated trigger guard, something else similar (like a billet lower) or ALWAYS go for a larger trigger guard, and I don't think I have a single AR with a stock grip. Out of... oh, well, a bunch, lol.
