The Army private is reportedly a Muslim American who had refused to deploy to Iraq.

He is not an American, if he was going to attack our soldiers. But, I am sure that Obama does not want me to jump to conclusions.
I am just glad they caught him before it happened.

"Pfc Naser Abdo, 21, was arrested in the town of Killeen and admits planning an attack on the nearby US Army base at Fort Hood, officials reportedly said.

The Muslim infantry soldier allegedly told police officers he was near the base to "get even".

Abdo, who joined the infantry in 2009, refused to deploy to Afghanistan on grounds of his religion and had put in the paperwork to be discharged as a conscientious objector. The Army approved his request, but on May 13, he was charged with possession of child pornography on his computer, a U.S. military official said.

Seriously? You joined the Army in 2009, and then you want out because they want you to go to a Muslim country? Gee, it's not like we haven't been in a sustained conflict with Muslim extremists for 8 YEARS before you joined! WTF?

My hypothesis would be letting the Army train you to attack them. There is no honor in this type of person. I guess the Koran condones child porn too?

exactly ... he was granted conscientious objector status this year after he said his Muslim beliefs prevented him from fighting.

Weird thing was they were tipped off about the guy by the same gun store that sold Nidal_Malik Hasan his gun before he went on his rampage. The employee said he was asking weird questions when he came in to purchase a gun.
