In other news Southern Poverty Law Center is now classifying the United States Senate as a hate group.

Seriously though I wonder if and what type of teeth this will have or if its just political posturing. If its a Simple Resolution it looks like its doesn't mean much. Its just stating your opinion on paper.

It’s posturing. The real designation of terrorist organizations doesn’t come from congressional resolutions.

It would be hard to properly pull off a real designation because ANTIFA is not a centralized group. It’s a bunch of independent groups that sort of agree to certain principles and mutually support each other.

Them not being centralized was not pointed out to say they should not be designated as terrorists, but to point out the difficulty in attaching a meaningful designation to them, beyond political proclamations...since they are not a single entity.

Violent White Supremacist groups = ANTIFA = Terrorists = a bunch of a-holes.
