The OKC Sheriffs office found one and a bunch of class rings in their evidence locker.

While cleaning out the Sheriff's Office Vault, we found eleven class rings that we would like to return to their owners. Among them, a 74 year old United States Air Force ring dated 1947. Members of the community can make a valid claim, but will need to provide enough evidence to reasonably identify ownership of the rings. To make a valid claim, contact [email protected] or call (405) 713-1946.

Details about the ring:
Silver colored United States Air Force ring with large round Blue colored stone; dated MCMXLVII (1947); artwork and engraving of Air Force imagery. No initials.

Air Force “ring knockers” prior to 1959 would be West Pointers. That’s the year the Air Force Academy graduated its first class. (IIRC, Astronaut Mike Collins was a USAF veteran and a West Point grad.)
And I believe astronaut Tom Stafford is a USAF veteran and a Naval Academy graduate.
