I need to find someone that can install a new gas piston on my ak. Anyone know of someone in the Moore, Norman or okc area that I might be able to hire to get this done? Thanks

Its not hard. If you have a drill you can do it. There is a cross pin that needs to be drilled out. Then you unscrew the piston and put the new one in. leave it a little loose. Dont tighten it all the way. Then you can use a rill pin to secure it when you are done

thanks I gave it a try and it was a lot easier than I thought it would be. now just have to go get a pin

You can make a pin pretty cheap. That website is gold when it comes to building AKs
