Watch a few YouTube vids on waxing blued guns, particularly revolvers. Not only will it make the gun look awesome, it offers some good protection too.Thank you. I torn, I love the history and character behind the wear, but I also intend on using it and I hate keeping up with a blued handgun honestly. I’m always getting rust spots on them after a few days out in the woods. Don’t have the cash to get it refinished at the moment anyways, so I’ll be sitting in it and thinking about it for a bit.

Got myself a bucket list gun today, an S serial number 1965ish 28-2 Highway Patrolman. I’m really torn between keeping it stock, or going ahead and cleaning it up and giving it the TiN treatment. Was used by the Lubbock PD, stamped number 69 on it too. Nice.
