I removed the head from the body, but cannot remove the bezel so that I can replace the internals on the head. I purchased a Malkoff Devices kit that I want to install.

So I actually pulled my malkoff devices kit out of the bag, and turns out it just replaces the entire Surefire head. Works alright, has a little more flood than I wanted, but it’s a huge upgrade over the 2009ish incandescent head. Sadly, my filters don’t fit now.

Lol...It's easier to go back and forth and chit chat and send pics. At the end, you get a summary and a scribbled up screenshot to use later.
The 961 head has to be replaced or disassembled to replace the components. The bulb comes right out the back but if you're rebuilding it into an LED head, you have to take it apart. Or replace the head. Different than a 6p or G2 or similar.
