I loaded some 185 grain and the slide won't completly close. The overall length is fine. I'd like to have someone look at the ammo I've loaded as well. I could meet up sometime this week and give them to you. Thanks.

Is this because the Glock brass has stretched?

In a nutshell, yes ... well, possibly. The case is not fully supported in the chamber of a Glock and is subject to more case expansion ahead of the rim. It is not always an issue, but must always be taken into consideration. There may be a 'bulge' in the brass ahead of the rim.

It is mainly on .40 Glock brass that you get the bulge. Is this round nose bullets or flat nose? If it is flat nose and you loaded it to 1.250 then it may be too long. You have to figure what the round part of the nose would have been and deduct that from the overall length.
