Is it cheaper to build your own AR 10 or just purchase one? I saw some barrels online but they were $799.99 and a new AR 10 is about $1300. Anybody know where to get parts cheaper? Also if I build a AR 10 do I have to buy the parts from an ffl dealer since I do not have an ffl license?:fallangel

The lower is the only part that has to go through an FFL! Other then that you can build one slowly for the same money or with some better quality parts for a little more!

No, the lower is the serial numbered part and is considered the "firearm". A full auto lower would run you at least $10,000 and require some ATF paperwork.
