I was going to color mine in too; but then I heard that a company was coming out with dress-up clothes for your AR; so Ill wait for that. I was always jealous of my sis and her barbies.

Accurate Iron branded stockings to keep my hand guard warm?

I picked up a couple of bottles of Testor's paint at Hobby Lobby for $1-$2 a bottle, cleaned the roll marks with non-acetone nail polish remover, then dipped a wooden toothpick into the paint, only collecting a small drop on the tip of the toothpick, and touching that drop to the rollmarks. It's thin enough that once you do this, it fills itself in. I let dry for 10 minutes or so and wiped off excess with a cleaning pad + CLP. Sometimes it needs 2 applications. I would also do darker colors first.
