I haven’t used one. They used to be priced right in line with Geissele so there wasn’t much reason not to get a Geissele. But they get comparable reviews, and Larue isn’t known for turning out junk... if you have $200 to spend on a trigger, get a Geissele SSA or SSA-E and don’t look back. They’re great triggers. For half the price, I’d surely be tempted to try the Larue.

I bought a Larue and it took about 2.5 weeks to come in. Couldn't pass on that price. Installed it the next day. If you like a solid wall and a glass break the Larue delivers. I have 2 more on order.

I love me some Geissele but at $87 dollars for the Larue build quality I just couldn't say no.

Next best thing to a SSA-E is the Larue MBT for $87. Order up

Better than a Timmney? I've got 3lb timmneys in all of my AR's and some bolt guns. It would be tough to beat them in performance.

Edit: I see the OP post is a two stage. I don't want a two stage. Won't fit my shooting style.

AFAIK, I've never touched a Timney, so I couldn't tell you how they compare. But they've been building triggers probably longer than anyone else, I'm sure they are quality too.

Geissele has about a dozen different variations, I'm sure you could find one to fit your application. The Larue is good, but the only option is adding the heavy spring which comes with it. It's the same trigger he uses in his rifle builds, but he offers no other options. I'm fine with a 2 stage as long as it's got a definite wall and clean break.

I've gotten rid of all my G triggers for MBT's.

Another vote on the Larue. $87 it's a bargain.
