AR with 2 weapon lights

mounted on it, what's the purpose of it? back up or just lights happy? I got these pix in my email from a friend. I'm not making fun of it, I'm just curious why they have 2 lights on it.

maybe halogen light, and one led light. led for close quarters, and halogen for longer distance. at least thats what works best for my eyes

It's actually a parabolic relationship. Number of sights ^ 2 = Accuracy.
