AR18 or AR180?

Hey Guys,

Does anyone here have any experience with the AR18 series rifle? Just moved to California where they were banned by name and realized I could probably get one here, just a matter of finding one. If anyone has shot one, what did you think?

I have never heard of an AR18... 15 yes, but now ya got me doubting myself...lol

This is the Ar18 series. Kind of ugly, but for some reason I think they are neat.

OK, so after reading up on it, I now feel less dumber..... Never have seen one for sale or in person.

I used to see them pop up on gunboards, and FAL Files. Hoping that I will get lucky and find one here now that I am in a free state.

Never seen an AR18, but am still kicking myself for passing on a Costa Mesa AR180 about a year or so ago. Thing was in great condition, the price was right, and I was stupid.

AR18 is the select fire military version. AR180 is the civy version. Armalite and the Japanese versions are the best. The British made Sterlings were not so good

@Fyrtwuck used to have one. I think i shot it once, but liked the AR 15 better.
