I'm still sighting in my new sight, but got some practice in today. Decided to record my first group of the day, from 40 yards and wouldn't you know it,
I peeled a fletching right off with a field point.

The last pic is my 4th group when I stepped back to 50 to adjust.

Excellent! I think my compound is gonna' have to stay in the closet this year. Having so much trouble with my right shoulder that I can't stand to draw it.

I tore a muscle in my right arm about 10 years ago and never got it fixed. I can still pull a bow a few times, but it hurts pretty bad. That's the main reason I bought a crossbow.

Yeah, I had surgery on my right shoulder (I'm right-handed) for a bone spur and a torn rotator cuff in 2006. I'm thinking either it's torn again or the arthritis has gotten so bad, I just can't handle it. I can draw it one time ... ONE ... and it's only 55# draw. I did buy a crossbow a few years ago, but have never hunted with it. Looks like this may be the year, if I am going to bow hunt at all!
