I keep telling everyone that the liberals/progressives, etc., are getting desperate to impose their desired socialist/communist dictatorship. Since they can't accomplish that with an armed population, this is just another 'excuse'.
On second thought, it is more than an excuse. It is more than a threat, too. It is an outright declaration of their intent. I, for one, will not be left on the front line with nothing more than a sharp stick. I will not be 'relieved' of my arms. Even if there is some way they can prove they are not out to enslave the people, they would pave the way for someone or some persons to do just that. That makes them no less culpable.
I stand on the Constitution.
