Many years ago when I was shoot trap, I met an older man that had lost his right eye. Rather than relearn the shooting, he had a shotgun stock set off like that, so all he had to do was learn to shoot with his left eye. He was one of the better tarp shooters. If the stock is alined right it will transfer the energy to the shoulder about the same as a straight stock.

45 years ago cause he went blind in his right eye. Toughest thing was getting a blank thick enough for the offset.
Had to laminate two pieces together.
