The other doughnut thread has me wondering...What is your favorite doughnut?
Dunkin donuts, Krispy Kreme is overrated, sure I'll get some hate comments over that, and daylight is disgusting to me nowadays, grew up with one in the family, had them for breakfast for years, will pass on them every time

Dunkin Donuts are dry and taste barely above a store bought. The Krispy Kreme near me actually closed down, not sure why. Our favorite around here are Quick Trip donuts. Not sure you guys down there get the same quality as I'm certain these must be made locally. I've been in the store when they bring them in at 3 or 4 AM and they smell nice and fresh.
The best ones were the free ones vendors brought in.
The worst donut I ever had was excellent.
Sadly, if you wanna call it that, I live in a rural area and have never had a Dunkin or Daylight Donut before. I've only had local shop's goods.

Ever made Monkey Bread? I learned how to do that in the Air Force back in the 80's. (No donuts in Turkey) Pretty good!

I loved to bake anything. Monkey bread could easy cause fist fights at our house.
