Well if I were you I'd get in touch with olyeller and have him shorten that up for you. If you're on a budget like I was you could get the apex tactical drop in parts. I'm very happy with the outcome but I know mike could have done a little more with it. I can definitely feel mine reset with the apex parts and it's definitely shorter than the factory trigger.

One warning if you are going the apex route... That rear sight is a biotch to get off without marring it.

The one thing i do really like about the glock system is when you keep the trigger pulled back after firing and then let out slowly you feel a click when the system resets. On the M&P its not so apparent

Yep, I agree. The Glock's trigger reset is more positive, and I prefer that.

If only the Glock didn't have the darn "safety" blade sticking out of the middle of the trigger! Never got along well with that feature. One thing I like about the M&P is the conventional smooth trigger face.
