That would be awesome!
I wish the Germans had done that with their FW190s. I saw one that was rebuilt at Oshkosh last year and I will say it was amazing looking in person.

That is too cool! Hopefully they won't be rusty hunks like the care they buried in front of the Tulsa courthouse.

Sounds like these guys actually used sound preservation techniques instead of just putting them in a concrete box.

I didn't watch the last royal wedding on tv, but I did happen to walk through the living room when there was a flyover by a Lancaster bomber, a Typhoon, and a Spitfire. You can tell by the crowd's reaction the importance of these planes in Britain's history. Of all the drivel during the tv coverage, I was lucky to catch this one moment.
