Ironically, these new laws do not impact sharing ammunition in person with your friends and shooting partners…you just cannot sell it to them.

I'm surprised they left this loophole; I'm sure it will be corrected as soon as they realize the horror that it could produce.

Well, this certainly limits the options for legitimate independent research and discoveries of new chemical compounds by private citizens.

An old Gentleman (Mechanical Engineer that worked in the Aerospace Industry) who was my friend for 30+ yrs told me that he believed it would someday be illegal to own Machine Tools or Stock Materials without a special license as these things could be used for the fabrication of weapons. He also thought it would someday be illegal to repair your own vehicles. He said these controls would become laws in the interests of public safety. He passed on several years ago. He was a Blacksmith before he got an education. I don’t know, but.........

Having been a machinist for about 25 years I often wondered the same thing about machine tools. A good machinist/tool maker can make all manor of weaponry if they want and nobody would know if they didn't want them to.

Now I see on the news today that Kommifornika is considering a user tax on mileage driven in a vehicle. I'm guessing that may be a push for additional public transportation, or just another way to get more money for socialist activities.

Also, I read somewhere that beginning in July, 2018 assembly of a firearm in CA will require a manufacturers license. Sucks for the AR builders and garage gunsmiths in CA.

This is so true, all the idiots driving a Prius around the downtown/bricktown area in OKC have out of state tags. I see lots of California and Colorado tags while I’m running boxes around there.
