If you like ugly peanut butter colored things...lol. Sad to say that the M45 is by far my favorite 1911 that I have owned and that includes a few pistols with higher MSRP's, better build quality, with more features. No front strap treatment, typical spongy Colt thumb safety, but they nailed the trigger guard undercut and the dual recoil spring system makes for an extremely soft, flat shooting pistol.

Really been wanting another .308 Rifle but dang I love the thought of adding another 1911 to the herd.
Possible heresy in the 1911 thread, the only two I currently own are the Springfield Elite Operator (9mm) & Browning's Black Label (380)...both sweet shooters.
