Ya'll are giving me G.A.S. with all this...I carried a 1911 for years while on active duty before we switched to the Beretta. I'm a pretty solid Glock fan now, but damn, these pictures make me want an old-school 1911 bad now.

That's a cartridge belt. Each section holds eight rounds in the clip. Being white it is for ceremonial or parade duty. The issue ones for the field were OD. hat brings back the old days...I qualified with an .03-A3 and a Garand in boot camp.

It came out white in the pic due to the flash, but its actually tan.
