For the people who thank a ML is not a Firearm there is a simple Test.

Carry a ML into a bank and point it at a teller.
Ask the teller to PLEASE give me all the money in their cash drawer.

What do you think you will be charged with?
All you did was ask the teller to please give you all the money!

Common sense is not so common. Common sense says a rifle is a firearm. A black powder "Rifle" is a rifle. And a rifle is a firearm. And a felon cant posses a firearm. Same goes for black powder pistols. Dont commit felonies and you dont have to worry about it.
You're not correct sir! Federal Law allows the possession of any muzzle loading gun, except any that can be altered, for rim fire,or center fire ammo, there's more to this, By statute muzzle loading guns aren't considered firearms! ATF WEB SITE FOR MORE INFORMATION! Have you ever taken anything that didn't belong to you? No one is squeaky clean! What's in your closet? Come down off your cross,& stick to the important issue,no one's perfect!

Joe, you’re quoting a guy that hasn’t been here since 2009. I’m gonna go out on a limb and say he’s likely to not respond.

BTW why not stop by the New Member Introduction forum and well…..introduce yourself.
