Sorry but the way the law is worded is confusing. It makes it seem as though it would not be legal but I know that is not right.
Yep, terribly worded law which makes it confusing for everyone, including LEO's and prosecutors. I have a letter on file at work from a Tulsa Co. ADA stating that they would prosecute assisted opening knife cases. When the agency filed several of them, someone else from the DA's office said "Why are you sending us these? We're not gonna file them!".
