I want to have the barrel on a single action Ruger shortened and the front sight reinstalled.

I also want the ejector rod housing and the grip frame satin nickeled.

Finally, I want the gun polished and blued.

I used to have a guy up in Frasier, MI, who did that kind of work, but I guess he retired.

Do any of you know of similarly competent gunsmith to do such work?

For those down in SW Oklahoma give Jarret McCluskey (McCluskey Gunsmithing in Altus) a call. He doesn't do any plating work but is one heck of a gunsmith. His work is always perfect ...... and reasonably priced.

2A sends me their extra work.

Just a fair warning ,,I am backed up about 5 weeks right now

This ...

That's still pretty damn fast for custom work. And you're in state, so customers can drop off in person and comunicate exactly what they want done.
Win-Win? Sounds like it.

This ...

Backed up, but well worth the wait. I am still admiring my little jewels I picked up the other day.

and this ... Don did a bang-up job on my Colt. Again, like others have said, he is well worth the wait.
